We've started a new class at LaGuardia Community College in collaboration with the Center for Humanities at CUNY Grad Center, Planeta, and The Children's Hospital at Montefiore. This is our journey through Immersive Media
Jump into the Light made me realize that I have a slight motion sickness. I was playing a sky diving simulator, the motion sickness was real. This experience taught me that things that affect you in the real world can carry in the virtual world. It made me wonder about VR can affect a person in a physical way, like me, or how can it affect a person mental?
But other than those questions, I enjoyed my experience. It made me want to pick a VR headset other than the Oculus that came with my phone. Don't judge me about the Oculus, I didn't pick it out. Samsung just gave it to me. It's not even that fun to use because my phone has a tendency to overheat while attached to the Oculus.
